PLACE VALUE
In mathematics, every digit in a number has a place value.
- Place value is the value represented by a digit based on its position in a number.
- A place value chart helps us to find and compare the place value of digits in numbers up to millions.
- Moving left on a place value chart multiplies the value by 10.
- Moving right on a place value chart divides the value by 10.
