FACTORS
A factor is a number that divides another number leaving no remainder.
Example: 12
- 1 × 12 = 12
- 2 × 6 = 12
- 3 × 4 = 12
Factors of 12: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12

PRIME FACTORIZATION
Composite numbers can be expressed as a product of prime factors. Factor trees make this easy.
Example: Factorize 48
